Morton Event Planning is a company run by a consultant, providing event planning.
This logo takes advantage of the three-part harmony that a small business's logo uses to communicate with their clients. Here's how:
1. The Icon. The icon here is designed as a modernized reference to an old-style seal. This is a visual reference to the personalized service that she gives to each client
2. The Font. I chose a font that is a transitional font heresomething between a modernized serif and an old-style stone carving font. This gives the logo a feel of crispness and an air of establishment to counteract the modern color palette and icon modification.
3. The Color Palette. The color palette for this logo is based on trends the lime green color has recently become a very popular color. It's been popular for long enough that I believe that it's not a flash-in-the-pan kind of colormany people have become attached to it. It also denotes energy, and reinforces the sort of feeling that this consultant wants to bring to the table in the events that she plans.
I also designed her stationery and business card.
