Marketing Design Packages and Pricing
I offer a wide range of marketing material designstoo wide a range to describe them all here in detail (without having this page go on just about forever).
Here's a selection of the marketing materials that are most commonly needed by my small business clients. You can also get pricing and package details on other types of marketing materials through my super-simple online quote form, which is located here.
Stationery Kit
Every piece of communication that you send out to potential clients should include your brand elementsÑyour logo, contact information, and the visual elements that make you credible and your brand memorable.
A Stationery Set includes the design of:
- Letterhead (may be either created as a document that's ready to send to a printer or as a digital, Microsoft Word-based letterhead)
- Business Card, single-sided
- Envelope or Mailing Label
In the stationery system design process, you will first receive 4-6 initial sketches of the business card. Once the creative direction for the business card is chosen, at least 2 matching designs for the remaining pieces will be created. Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included in this package. The design process for the Stationery Set typically takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
Printing not included in pricing
$600

I recommend having at least one marketing piece beyond your stationery kit, and then using that piece to follow up with your clients on a regular basis. - Preparation of the final files for printing

Visual Vocabulary Development
Once a logo has been created, a Visual Vocabulary is the next step for a brand. Your Visual Vocabulary can include design elements such as:
- Font Styles: You should have a small collection of font faces, weights and classifications to use on your materials. I'll specify fonts for both print and web use, for headlines, subheads and body copy in each case, at minimum. For each style, I'll specify the typeface to use, the color it should be, and paragraph alignment.
- Colors: I'll create a color palette of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors to use when choosing colors for illustrations, graphics or any other part of your Visual Vocabulary.
- Shapes: I'll specify the types of shapes to use in your designs and illustrations to communicate your brand's personality.
- Backgrounds: Using background screens or shapes, or even a specially designed watermark can give your materials an extra bit of flair.
- Photographs: I'll suggest a series of inexpensive stock photos with the correct personality and subject matter for your website and marketing materials.
- Special textual treatments: For very special text that you want to highlight, such as your tagline, marketing bullets, sidebars, or bullets that detail your specialties.
- Paper Type: I'll suggest specialty papers that will make your materials stand out.
You'll get several, flexible sets of Visual Vocabulary elements that will contribute to your brand's memorability. You'll be able to use these in Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Word documents to create consistent marketing materials for your business.
The Visual Vocabulary may also be designed in-place on your marketing materials (it doesn't have to be developed as a stand-alone item). But, I am flexible. If you would like to design your Visual Vocabulary elements as a standalone set of materials that can later be applied to your marketing pieces, that's not a problem. Or, if you'd like to extract the Visual Vocabulary pieces from the marketing pieces that we've already designed and have a Brand Elements report created for you, so that you can later design more pieces to match your vocabulary, I can do that.
Visual Vocabulary: $1250
Other marketing materials are also available, such as:
- Brochure-style business cards
- Presentation folders
- Sales sheets
- Flyers
- Inserts for presentation folders
- PowerPoint presentation templates and full presentations
- Process illustrations
- Supplemental stationery like note cards, note pads, shipping labels, invoice headers, etc.
